A new mega catamaran has been announced, blending luxury with adventure in the Galapagos Islands. The 50-meter vessel, named Hermes, is set to launch in April 2025 and will be the largest ultra-luxury catamaran available for charter worldwide upon its debut.
This family-owned expedition yacht, currently under construction, will accommodate up to 20 guests in 12 lavish cabins. Each cabin will feature amenities such as a walk-in wardrobe, mini bar, spacious living area, private jacuzzi, and balcony with excellent views of the archipelago.
The yacht will offer various relaxation areas designed for socializing and a range of wellness experiences, including a Hammam and massages using eco-friendly products. The onboard experience is intended to combine the intimacy of a small expedition vessel with the amenities of a larger ship. With a crew-to-guest ratio of nearly 1:1, including butler service, the yacht promises personalized attention.
Two naturalist guides will lead immersive excursions, and there will be an option to have a scientist onboard for research purposes. Activities will include Ecuadorian cooking demonstrations, hiking, and watersports such as snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboarding.
Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a reforestation program in Santa Cruz, contributing to local conservation efforts. The yacht is specially designed to navigate the Galapagos’ waters, allowing for exploration of remote and lesser-known islands.
Bookings for 2025 are now open. This all-inclusive rate covers meals, selected beverages, excursions, park fees, and the use of onboard facilities and equipment.
