If you've been dreaming of visiting the Galápagos Islands, now is the perfect time to make those plans a reality. Scheduled to launch in April 2025, Hermes will be the newest and most luxurious catamaran to explore this biodiverse archipelago, earning its spot as a must-see addition to your travel bucket list.
This ultra-luxurious catamaran is designed to deliver an unparalleled experience of the Galápagos. As the largest catamaran in the region—and the largest commercial catamaran worldwide—Hermes truly sets itself apart.
Accommodating only 20 passengers across 12 exclusive suites, Hermes offers an intimate and personalized journey. Each suite is equipped with a private balcony and a Jacuzzi placed by a panoramic window, allowing guests to unwind while soaking in the stunning views. Ten suites, spanning 375 square feet, are family-friendly and can host up to three guests (two adults and one child under 12), while the remaining two suites, measuring 236 square feet, are tailored for solo travelers without any additional single supplements. Guests will also enjoy the services of two dedicated butlers, available to handle everything from unpacking luggage to arranging spa appointments and laundry.
The vessel boasts 7,800 square feet of public spaces, including ten social areas such as a sun deck with a hot tub, an aperitif lounge, and a hammam. Dining options include Paradiso, an elegant dining hall, and Sole e Luna, an al fresco restaurant. Both venues feature menus curated by acclaimed Ecuadorian chef Andrés Robles Montenegro, known for his work with Relais & Châteaux. Guests can also participate in mixology and cooking classes as part of the onboard culinary program.
For activities, two expert naturalist guides will lead small groups of up to 10 guests on excursions such as hiking, snorkeling, and kayaking, providing insights into the islands’ unique wildlife, from blue-footed boobies to marine iguanas. Flexible itineraries range from four to 15 days, with options to combine trips, ensuring a customizable Galápagos adventure.
Cruises start with five-day itineraries and extend to luxurious 15-day expeditions, offering something for every traveler.
